ABOUT SHAREWARE: Many of the programs
on these discs are Shareware, Public
Domain, or Freeware. By purchasing these discs,
you are not necessarily purchasing registration,
nor the right to use the programs. In order to
obtain these rights, you must register with the
developer listed in the individual program. The
price you paid for the CDs is the cost of
duplication and distribution the programs.
Shareware is an exciting marketing method
which allows you to try top-quality software
before you pay the author. With Shareware, you
won't be disappointed paying lots of money for a
program that's not right for you. The small fee
you pay covers only the duplication and
distribution costs, and permits you to
EVALUATE a fully-functional program. If you
continue to use it, you must send the author an
additional payment which may entitle you to:
technical support, free or discounted upgrades,
bonus programs, and more. Your payment
supports authors, allowing them to continue
writing newer and better Shareware programs.
ASP OMBUDSPERSON: CD Titles is an approved
vendor and associate member of the
Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP).
ASP wants to make sure that the shareware
principle works for you. If you are unable to
resolve a shareware-related problem with an
ASP member by contacting the member directly,
ASP may be able to help. The ASP
Ombudsperson can help you resolve a dispute
or problem with an ASP member, but does not
provide technical support for members'
products. Please write to the ASP
Ombudsperson at 545 Grover Road, Muskegon,
MI 49442 or send a message via CompuServe
to ASP Ombudsperson 70007,3536.
